Our First Trip of 2012!
We got an early start this season on the Rogue River with our first trip of the year already off the water, and our second launching today! May trips are great for the lush, green scenery, spring wildflowers, and lots of active wildlife. The canyon is relatively quiet giving guests and guides alike plenty of time to savor the beauty of the Rogue, and this trip had the special bonus of Sunday's solar eclipse!
Our guides love the first trips of the year that get them back out into their "natural habitat". Jeni and Lexey led our first Rogue trip and got our season off to a great start. The side creeks and waterfalls were flowing greater than normal, making for many beautiful side hikes. Two brave souls even took the icy plunge into Tate Creek!
Lexey has deemed summer of 2012 to be ECHO's BSE (Best Summer Ever)! We're looking forward to running great trips with our stellar guide crew and sharing many memorable moments with all of our guests. Hope your reservation is made for ECHO's BSE!
"The trip was terrific. I love testing myself and this trip did just that. The guides were great and you couldn't ask for a more beautiful location. I would recommend ECHO for a great river rafting trip." James Boorman-Padgett, Rogue River guest
